Where I stayed
KOA

We awoke to sunshine today and it stayed with us
all day.  Wonderful for traveling.  We have been in the Appalachians
all day going up and down grades.  Most of the crests have been around
2700 + feet.  Ridge after ridge of tree packed landscape.  I was surprised
to see close to a dozen deer today grazing both along side the road and in
fields.  I never did get a picture though; zipping past at 60 mph just
didn't give me enough reaction time.  It has been interesting both today
and yesterday driving along seeing names from the history books of the civil
war.  We have been deep in the area of so many battles and troop marches the past two days.

The location of this KOA campground is quite different from others we have
stayed in.  We are sitting atop a ridge behind a huge Days Inn with an amphitheatre
in the back yard. It seems to have quite a drawing card of name entertainers.  The town has a fairly good sized outlet store complex to pull in travelers also.

Louie is settling in with traveling again.  He must really be building his muscle mass battling the sloshing water. He is a  happy camper as long as he gets his food nuggets.  LOL

I can't believe Louie is still bouncing along! I thought maybe he'd given up by now. Wow! That's impressive. You must be a good fish mommy. :)
