It has only been 2 weeks but again lots to tell!
So only start reading this when you have time ;-))

Thank you Ramon for the it-reads-like-a-book-compliment, I might really publish a book about my travels and adventures one day ;-)) It is one of the many projects that is already on my mind.

Last Week I started working at Elsevier, back into the office again. Already on my first afternoon I got really pissed off with the database system, not a promising start ;-) But you know me, I always see things positive, so know that I will make the most of this job as well. Some people asked me if I can handle office-live again, having been a free bird for so long. Well, somehow getting back into it is not so difficult, but I realized one thing straightaway: A full-time office job (especially for a commercial company) is not my thing. What then? More and more focused on (paid) NGO work, with a weak spot for kids. Not completely clear yet. I am living my life more aware and intense now. Trying to understand why things are happening to me. Last week I got 2 emails from Mongolia and India asking me to please come over. Even an offer to pay for half my ticket. I was flattered and tempted as I love to see them, for a moment feeling 'stuck' in my job. But then realised I want to be here now. One of the many reasons why I decided to be in Holland and base myself for now is taking the time and peace-of-mind to figure things out. Back into structured life by choice, so with a smile this time.

Also started doing my sun salutations and meditation in the mornings again. No more rushing things in the morning, but taking it easy. Even time for a cup of tea and breakfast. Completely relaxed off to work. It feels so much better. Of course this does not mean I am going to bed really early. 7 hours sleep is more then enough for me ;-)) I am and will always be an evening-person! Add the daily afternoon fitness (easy access as it's located inside the Elsevier building and for free!) and you could call it routine work days for me, daytime anyway.

And, finally after 33 years, I truly understand the concept 'quality over quantity'! It has been in my mind for years already but never acted on it. Started to buy more and more macrobiotic (biologisch) and Fair Trade products. The taste is so much better and it makes a difference in the world. Important for the idealist in me. Eating less, but better.
No Max, not turning into a bio-fanatic like you. But who knows, you did try your best to confince me about motorbike travelling in the USA! Next time a tea with bio-whipped cream in Amsterdam? Had a great laugh on Saturday ;-)))

As part of my philosophy 'try anything once in my life' I can add another one...been a testee for a regression hynotic therapy session. In short: going back in the time, trying to reset your mind on a certain event. The mother-in-law of a good friend of mine needed a person to practice on. As I do have an issue from the past that has been bothering me ever since, I was curious if this could help me overcome this, so decided to be part of it. The fact that there would also be an 'audience' was not a problem for me. Tears, fear, relieve and hope were some of the emotions I felt throughout the session. But most of all it brought me clearity. New session coming up so...Story continues...

The photos show you 'my' appartment, althought I did make some changes already! Some old Christmas photos I forgot to upload and the tall building is where I work. Good views from the 18th floor! Next time.

Andy, I really hope you (both) can come over and visit me soon. Loved talking to you! Miss you both lots. Connected in spirit forever! And yes, for sure we are going on another motorbike adventure when you pass your exam and knock on my door! Our Mongolia story continues ;-)))

Till next time!

Big Hug,
Ma Tha Zin (Liekie)
