Hi all,
I knew it in theory, people told me all about it and warned me big time, but it still did not hit me till I got here: IT IS VERY EXPENSIVE!! Trying really hard to forget Asian prices but cannot help but compare. Even Holland seems cheap now. How weird the minds works!
Always thought you can do it as cheap as you want in every country, so was not too worried, but even pitching a tent (average 15 euro a night) or getting food from the supermarket (they sell nothing under 1 euro it seems) is attacking my wallet, ahhhgg
Riding my motorbike is what it's all about and I love it.
Met more bikers along the way, but all on different paths so been doing the miles alone so far. I feel a bit pushed due time restrictions as I need to be in Finland coming Friday, so not been off the N-roads much. Yesterday I did however take a scenic route towards Odense, with the little windy roads, very nice indeed! Will definately do more of those after the wedding. When time is no issue.
Today is sightseeing-day. Copenhagen is a city I really want to get a quick feel of before moving on again and also nice to walk for a day. The sun is hiding but I somehow the city still seems very attractive. If you want to plan a next EasyJet-city trip, I can recommend this city!
Unfortunately the couchsurfers I contacted are not here right now (I was a bit last minute, ahum), so have to find the spots myself. Christiania is a definate must-see for me. And I am on my way now.....
p.s. no photo-upload possible at this FREE-internet place (www.useit.dk best TIC in town!), so have a little more patience please...
