Hello people,

Back in Holland for about 2 weeks now, 2 more to go ;-)))
Yes, only a short visit this time, my next one will be a bit longer!

Still trying to get the bug out of my system. At the moment it is still throwing parties in my intestinces, which causes my liver to cramp up. Little gift Myanmar gave me. See what the hospital can identify the little brat, results to follow next week. Just in time for me to take pills with me on my next trip abroad: On my motorbike to Finland (and rest of Europe?).

Date is set: 17th of July I will get on my bike, with camping gear and other necessities. Good thing is that I do not have to take my 'wedding guest cloths' with me. I wonder if it will survive without wrinkles and oil stains! I was so bold to ask if other guests (Dutch people) can take them with them in their suitcase (and back again). Answer: YES. She who asks....very kind of them. Also can pitch my tent near the venue, which saves me hotel costs. I understand 50 euro a night for Europe is 'great deal', but for me lots of money!

Getting a bit more used to the bureaucratic rules and regulations again, although I still find them very annoying. Spending my time on the phone arranging things (please hold...5-10 minutes!!) and searching on internet for second-hand motor gear... In between: spending lovely time with my family and (some) friends. Also stopped by my old employer for a 'quick' visit, which turned out to almost a whole day! I'm surprised Rinus didn't kick me out! Reparing and checking my motorbike, as it needs to be ready for her 'first' big trip! With the
help from the guys in Amstelveen, thanks!!

Yep, I'm (temporarily) back in charming little Holland, the country I call home...
