Dear all,
Although I had my sad moments, I am also meeting beautiful people. Martijn, a dutch guy next to me, Carmen, lovely sister who gave me her tent when she left the gathering to go to India, Rebecca, girlfriend of Roman and many more. Had a good talk with Roman about my mixed feelings 2 days ago, which made me put things into perspective.
Also thinking about life after Rainbow. What to do?
I have no clue yet :-)
One thing I am considering is joining into this vision to walk to China, starting in North Thailand, through Laos into southern China, total time 2-3 months. About 8 brothers and sisters are joining at the moment, including Roman and Rebecca. It is Retreat walk however, which means no meat, drugs, alcohol and smoking. Fine by me, but also no coffee, sugar and electronical devices. That's where it gets difficult for me as I love my photocamera and taking photos! Also leaves not much room for doing internet, which I am rather attached to. So not sure what to do yet, but little longer to decide as the walk will start on the 15th in Chiang Mai. Will want to see A before that though. I will keep you informed on what I am deciding of course.
For now, buying fruit, checking/sending email, having photocopies made of songbook for brother/sisters etc. Then back to the beach again. Before I say goodbye for now, I want to tell you about this magical rainbow moment I had last night: Angel Walk. 2 rows of people form this tunnel facing eachother. One by one people are guided with their eyes closed through the line, receiving hugs, kisses, nice words etc. Anything a brother/sister want to give from the heart. A rational/sceptical person like me was brought into tears (of joy). Such a nice and beautiful magical Rainbow moment. You could really feel the love around.
Talk to you all later!
Love and Light,
Liekie
