This morning we woke up at 6:30. We packed up our stuff and hoped to get a coffee at the general store and a shower in Grant Village, but unfortunately, nothing opened until 8. So, we decided to drive out the east entrance of Yellowstone and take our chances there. We found showers with unlimited hot water for $3.25/person. We also got coffee at the general store to have with our bagels. Then we were off yet again! This time we are on our way towards Denver Colorado. We left at 9:30ish and have been on the road since. It is currently 5:30. We have made two fuel stops, one bathroom stop, and one food stop (near Casper). I am not sure what time we will arrive or where we will stay, but I am sure we will figure it out; we always do. You might be wondering why we are going to Denver. Janis got an email from the German/American Chamber of Commerce requesting that he be present for an interview on the 16th at 10 a.m. This is a very good opportunity for Janis, so he had to take it. I am not sure what we will do in Denver, but once again, we will figure it out. Janis leaves tomorrow afternoon to SFO and returns back to Denver on the 17th. Hopefully when he gets back, we can make our way towards Mt. Rushmore.
We arrived in Loveland, Colorado just outside Denver, as wel as the Rocky Mountain National Park around 6:45 this evening. We thought about camping, but decided that staying in a hotel would be more convenient since we have to get Janis to the airport around 11. We decides to stay the Quality Inn, which has complimentary wi-fi, continental breakfast, and a indoor pool. It is comfortable here and it's nice to be on a real bed. Goodnight! Hope to give you another update soon!
