Had a good breakfast at the hostel. There were eggs, cereal, fruit salad, ham, cheese and more. Probably one of the better hostel breakfasts we had. Pretty much chilled off the day, while waiting for our tour at 3pm to the valley of the moon.

The minivan picked us up at 3, and other passengers in town. The first stop was the Death Valley (Valle de la Murte), with canyon like landscapes. It was supposed to be the Mars valley but a misspelling gave it its present day name.

Then we went to another spot where there was a nice cliff which resembled the road runner cliff.

The last stop was the valley of the moon. After paying our entrance fees, we drove to a cave like region of the canyon, where we walked through weird landforms. The cave got really low in some areas and dark in others.

After the caves, the driver drove us to the valley to watch the sunset. The valley was just like in the photos, moon-like derelict landscape. It was kinda disappointing seeing it in real life though, as it paled in comparison with what we saw before. If not for the name of the place, I figured that this would just be another valley. The sunset was nice, but not the view of the valley. It was the light show on the mountain range behind the valley which was pretty. Waited till the sunset, and the colours to change completely before heading back to town.

Made our own dinner. Someone stole our pasta that we left in the kitchen. Was also informed that our geyser tour tomorrow morning was cancelled. We switched it for the altiplano lagoon tours, and could sleep in awhile more.
