Took the B35 tourist bus which we booked at 8.30am for the Tarabuco Sunday Market, around 1.5 hour drive from Sucre. We were dropped off at a restaurant, and were explained the differences between natural and synthetic materials which we will see in the market later on.

Walked towards the market, which was basically peddlers lining up their goods along the streets around the central plaza. They sold tapestry, bags, bracelets and more. We must have walked around the market at least 3 times, comparing prices and bargaining. I bought a messenger bag for B40, and 3 bracelets for B15 each.

It was lunchtime and we went back to the starting point restaurant to have their inflated B35 set lunch. The food was nice except the beef of the main was too indigestible.

Headed back to Sucre at 1.30am. Most shops were closed when we arrived; it seems Sunday is a rest day even for retailers. Went back to the hostel to rest, before heading out to find dinner at 5. We first went to the Metro Cafe near the central plaza to have a frap and cheesecake. Then to the central market to find fruit juices, only to find that closed as well.

Thankfully the Chinese restaurant called Shanghai was open and we ordered 3 dishes to share. Tasted well.
