Crossed the Peru-Bolivian border and arrived at Copacabana at around 11am. Seems like we saved some US dollars on our visa by getting it for free at Lima.

Copacabana is a real small town. We arrived at the hostel which we made an online reservation to find that they did not confirm our reservation. It was full and we decided to check the hotel next door which had a room for us$50 for 4. Not wanting to carry our bags around the whole time, we decided to stay there for a night.

Walked to the central plaza to look for food and settled for a B12 ($1=B5) menu which served soup and fried trout. There was a cathedral by the plaza but was mediocre looking at best.

Walked down the Main Street to find many hostels, some even charging B20($4), a fifth of the price we were paying. We tried to get a refund from the hostel but they refused.
So we spent a night there.

Bought tickets for La Paz and heading to the island of the Sun tomorrow!
