Went hunting for haviannas flipflops after breakfast. We left at around 945am. There was a big store in our vicinity and didn't take us long to locate it. The selection was great. Not huge, but definitely more than back home. The prices? Even more awesome. A basic pair was just around sgd10. I got myself a soft sole pair which was around sgd25. It was real comfortable and u can't get these back in Singapore. We spent like 1.5 hours at the store. After being satisfied with our purchase, we headed back to the hostel to drop our stuff.

Went out to grab a pizza for the beach around 1. It was like 12usd for a 40cm pizza. Taste good as well. We rented deck chairs and lazed by the Copacabana shore. The waves were huge - last time I had waves like these were at Gold Coast. If only I had a surfboard as well. Went for a swim and tanned on the chair. The sun went behind the mountain behind us around 4pm, so we decided to pack up and leave.

Went hunting for more haviannas. There's another store in the other direction but we passed by many other haviannas stores before finding it in a shopping mall. There was a good selection, but lesser than what we found at the first store. Headed back before night fall and had roasted chicken with cream pasta for dinner. Managed to settle our favela tour tomorrow as well!
