Wow, that was a long one, 10 hours or something, I can't be exact as we've crossed yet another timeline so I can't get my head around it.  Had a great seat at the front of the section which meant I could stretch my legs.  Although there was still the awkwardness of trying to sleep up straight or with my head lolling to the side every so often causing severe neck ache, but I can't really complain seeing as I am now in California!

We went to look at some cars to rent, deciding on a black cadillac which I have named Betty.  It's very comfy with all the gizmos of electric seats, a massager thing, good sound system, air con and even a sunroof, yes I know, jealous or what?
I'm not sure I would have the guts to drive over here, they have a rule which means you have to stop at every junction and let the person who was there first, cross first.  It does make sense but when there are 4 cars and you have to take note of who arrived there first, it gets confusing (and of course they drive on the right).  They also have a car pool lane, which means if you have 2+ people in the car you can use these lanes which are more clear than the others.  It's crazy the amount of traffic which is in the other lane, all cars with only 1 person!

Mike managed to get a good deal at the Crowne Plaza on Reondono Beach.  So I am treated to more luxury with a huge bed, coffee machine, internet and a pool and jacuzzi.
Mike wanted to buy some gadgets so we set off for the shops then stopped for a burger and chips.  I have a feeling the detox I was planning is not going to work here.  The burger was amazing, I had beef, coleslaw, olives, goats cheese, lettice and dressing with sweet potato fries, I'm definately going to have to remember that one.
