Third Day, Woke-up by 7 AM, it was a pleasant bright morning. Had morning tea and went for a short morning stroll. It was nice to see the tea bushes in dew and the clear morning views were really amazing. The plan was to visit Pothamedu Viewpoint, Attukkad falls and drive through BisonValley. There were many reviews in TripAdvisor mentioning the scenic drive to BisonValley.

Pothamedu viewpoint is en route to Pallivasal(8 km from Munnar town). The road turning left towards Pothamedu from the main road is quite narrow and starts with a bridge crossing a river and then on its a steep climb up the hills. This route is very very misty compared to any other road in Munnar and the road condition is just average. The mountains and the vegetation on the sides were partially visible due to the mist and the vehicles are running with full lights. I loved driving in those conditions. Clicked few pics in the viewpoint and proceeded towards BisonValley.

BisonValley road from the viewpoint is a steep downhill and the road conditions and visibility deteriorated going further. But still we proceeded till we found its safe for us and the vehicle, enjoyed the drive/mist and turned back. It was slightly drizzling which added to the beauty of nature along with the mist and the tea plantations.

Next stop was Attukkad Waterfalls. There were no proper signs indicating the falls from the main road. One have to take a steep left turn near a Tata retail tea outlet for the falls. Its a downhill drive till the falls. Before you reach the foothills, you can have a far view of the main falls on the way. There will be a little problem in parking the vehicle and the roads are very narrow when you reach near the spot. There is a bridge across the water flow from where you can't get full view view of the main falls but you have to do a short trek up the leech infested slippery hill.

Drove back to Old Munnar for a nice seafood lunch in Greenleaf restaurant. It was drizzling continuously and didn't feel like going for another spot, so went back to Yellapatty. Had evening tea and walked out for a evening stroll, this time we decided to hike-up a small hill behind the bungalow. The view from above the hill was nice with plantations on a side and a steep cliff on the other. Overall the day turned out very interesting because of the drive through misty roads and the hike. Had a nice dinner from the Bungalow and rested..
