Well, After Chloe and I left London, we took the train back to Paris to stay with Aunt Rhonda's friend Amanda! We came into the Gare Saint-Lazare Station.  It is a really cool station!  Amanda works for Google and is married to a man named Coumar who is French Indian and is a research scientist (researching cancer).  They live in the 13 arrondissement of Paris. I believe there are 20 altogether. Arrondissment means districts, or like here in the US, it means Neighborhoods! :).

We woke up every morning bright and early to walk to the boulangerie. (Boulangerie is the French word for Bakery!) We would get fresh chocolate croissants, a crusty baguette, fresh juice, hot coffee and say good morning to everyone - BONJOUR! :). It was fun practicing my French! I also liked using the Euro. It i sn't too diferrent from the dollar.

Next, we would pack a snack, get our train pass and museum pass and head out. We walked mostly, but sometimes we hopped on the train or bus.  We started at the Louvre (Mona Lisa), which is an underground museum, it has the Mona Lisa in it. (She seems like she is watching you from wherever you stand in the room.)

We ate a LOT OF FOOD! The food was the most delicious food I had ever tasted. It was so fresh! We stopped at this little pattiserrie and had the most delicious hot chocolate and chestnut puff pastry with fresh cream inside!!!  We walked to La For dinner at La Cocottes, we had lobster ravioli, chestnut soup with grilled scallops, coqo van and we had Cheese for
Dessert with more bread and chocolate cake!! Can you believe it!? But, it was the most delicious cheese I have ever tasted. :). Yummy!!!  We were so full, we walked across the city to Amanda's home.

Next day, Amanda took me rollerblading. We went by the Seine River, Arc DeTriumphe and the Eiffel Tower! It was a blast! The Eiffel Tower is beautiful and very tall!!

The next day, we started at the boulangerie again. We visited Notre Dame.  It is a big cathedral built one thousand years ago. From there we walked to a neighborhood called The Marais. We had the most delicious crepes (yes, we were eating again - ha!).  There was great shopping and lots of fun people to watch - very Parisian!

The last thing we got to do in Paris was a Paris Fashion Show for Chloe and I!  We loved it - what a great experience!  I hope you all get to visit Paris some day!!

We had such a fun time time in Paris thanks to Amanda!  We have had such a great time sending all of our adventures to Ms. Cobaugh's class!  We hope you have the best summer having all of your own adventures!

To More Adventures!!!!

Your Friend,

Stanley
