Good Morning, Ms. Cobaugh's class!

We are finishing up our time in Washington DC.  It has been very busy, but good.

The day started off with a raffle.  I had three tickets...I wanted to win an ipad, no luck, but I did win a flashlight.  I love flashlights!  :) ( I have sent you a raffle -ready-to-go and hope you have fun with it! )  Aunt Rhonda and Uncle Narci had a lot of work to do, so Chloe and I went to the pool.  There was a nice lady who watched over us.

Next, we went to a baseball theme party.  We met these two very tall men...they sure look like two presidents of the United States...Who do you think they look like?  Can you name the Presidents of the United States? (Well, I sent you pencils with the presidents on the pencil to help you remember if you need to)

And lastly, for the evening, we went to the National Mall in downtown, starting at the Washington Monument.  It is so big!

Next, we went to see the Lincoln Memorial.  This was my and Chloe's favorite place!  Have you ever been here?

After we marveled at the Lincoln Memorial, we stopped at a fountain and then headed over to see the White House.  And guess what?!  The White House was asleep!  We were there sooo late that they had already gone to bed with lights out, except the light on top that lights the flag.  If you look closely at the photo, you can see the outline of it in the dark!

We should probably get home and get some sleep!

Talk to you again soon!

Our next adventure will be our photos from LONDON!  Can't wait to share the photos!  :)

Cheers!

Your Friend,

Stanley
