After our canoeing in the gorge we drove south towards Alice Springs, on the way we had a blow out right in the middle of no where i had no idea what was going on when the car started snaking i thought at the time, fuck its windy! its only when danielle told me to pull over that we noticed we had blown a tyre luckily for us! we had a spare in the back, changed it over no bother, like ZERO cars drove past us while we were changing the tyre i even had time for a kick about with the ball in the middle of the road! We just drove until sunset, as the sun starts going down this is when all the animals come out so you gotta watch out for the kangaroo's they feed right at the side of the road, dont want to crash into any ;x We did make it to renner springs which is basically just a roadhouse and a campsite right in the middle of no where! we setup camp here and got a big bbq fire absolutley blazing, flames were just pouring out of it!

Next day we woke up pretty early, got woken up by honking geese was pretty funny as i heard them... woke up and looked at the side of the tent and all i could see was a shadow of  this geese's head waddling past! We drove right down to a place called the Devils Marbles which are just huge balls of granite rock all stacked up toghether, the whole place reminded me of the flinstones for some reason! The next place that we arrived on was Wycliffe Well which is the best roadhouse i have ever visited, it's the number 2 spot in the world for ufo spottings they have encounters every year, all of the inside of the roadhouse is decorated with loads of clippings from ufo sightings from the newspaper, there are loads of funny signs outside as well "humans also welcome" was a good one! there was even green plastic aliens outside was a right good place. we just continued to drive all day stopping at the various roadhouses's on the way until we got to alice springs around 5pm at night time where we booked into annies place for $18 a night not too bad!
