Today we rednted out a 4wd with james, magnus and eric who are from orkney and berry who is dutch , took about an hour to get to Litchfield from Darwin and the boys were rough as hell sleeping on each other in the car on the way there, right lovers lol

First off we went and viewed the huge termite mounds the one i took a pic of was about 5m high... there was also magnetic termite mounds which look like grave stones, they just build them that way to avoid the mid day heat, afterwards We went to Florence Falls first which was really nice, we also jumped off the cliff into the water here too pretty fun, the falls were cracking, the water was soo warm compared to the other gorges we have visited! It was time to jump over to buley rockholes which were just nice warm rock pools to relax in probably but we just went mad and was doing backflips, frontflips everything into the water :)

It was then time to engage 4wd and head to sandy creek falls, we drove through 600mm of water and got bounced about a bit for 10k till we got there, was really fun. Sandy creek falls was the best place, there was zero tourists and we just basically had the place to ourselves. We all went for a swim, and we headed over to the bottom of a huge cliff we checked the depth and it was soo deep, the water was really clear as well. so off we went and climed up as far as we could go and then weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee into the water, dunno wat it is with throwing yourself off cliffs but its bloody goood crack! It was then another 19k off road drive to suprise creek falls, becasue it was the dry season there wasnt too much falls going on but there was two very deep pools which we jumped into as well :) more fun

We managed to visit Wangi falls as well before the day was out, the sun started to set and the waterfalls turned orange... was a really good day and on the drive back home we saw a bushfire in the distance and the sky turned a purple/orange during sunset, topped the day off :) good shit
