So after spending the last week living with Kate it looks like the time had come that I was dreading. The time for me to leave. At 7:10pm last night my coach pulled out of Matsuyama station and I was heading away from a person two weeks ago I didn`t even know existed yet now I could have happily stayed with for another month or more. But then how long would have been long enough? I`m pretty sure if I had stayed any longer I definitely wouldn`t have been leaving, which wouldn`t be a very interesting travel blog! Kate will definitely be the hardest person I have to leave behind on this trip. I haven`t cried for a long time but when that coach pulled away the flood gates were open and i was sobing like a small child who had run head first into a brick wall, hungover. Not sure why a child would be hungover and run into a wall but thats how I felt. I`m sure I`ll see her again when (if) I go back to England.

So anyway after a 12 hour coach journey I arrived in Tokyo this morning and this will be my last night in Japan. Will probably kip at the airport, because my flight to Bangkok doesn`t leave until 9:30 tomorrow morning. Although I just checked it online and that flight is actually missing off my booking so I might be back at Kates sooner than I thought.

Went to see Roz on Thursday (which was an 8 hour round journey) to collect my camera which the legendary Japanese people at Casio had fixed for me. Although how long it will stay working for is another matter. Roz was ill and she had been in her house for the past week wearing a funny mask that makes the Japanese people look like doctors.

I cant believe I am 5 weeks into this journey already. Seems like I only left yesterday. Get the feeling this year is going to fly by...
