Singapore is an awesome city. There's so much to do here and with two casinos planning to be built for 2008 I may just have to come back and visit again, when I have plenty of money.

Last night me and Luke went to Clarke Quay where we had a few drinks and watched a band called Six in the city which were pretty good.

Today we managed to get up and get the free breakfast we were supposed to have yesterday which was one of the better breakfasts I've had in Asia. Then we left to head to Sentosa island in the rain. Thought we were going to have to climb Mt Faber to catch the cable car across but managed to find a tall building in front of it which the cable car runs through so we just got the lift up.

The view was amazing to say the least on the journey across and the rain had stopped when we arrived on the island. We'd booked a tour and first place we went was the underwater world which had loads of sharks and was cool, then we went to cinemania which is a cinema and simulator combined and was a good laugh apart from the woman screaming all the way through the simulated roller coaster ride. Then went into a place called Sentosa 4D magix which was a short film where you put glasses on to make it appear 3D which is quite awesome in itself then and you get all sorts of stuff happen as you watch it. Wont ruin it for anyone planning to go there but definitely check it out, its only been open a couple of months but can see that in the future all films at the cinema will be like this. Then after lunch we found the Luge which is where we spent the most of our time (and money) today. Its basically a toboggan ride you can steer and if there isn't one in the UK, I'm going to open one up. We ended up buying an hours unlimited pass after getting slightly addicted to it and had several incidents on the way down including getting shouted at by the staff for going to fast and Luke cutting me up pushing me into the grass verge. Cheating ****. It ended up 4-4 after 8 races so going to have to return to the Luge at some point and show him who's fastest. After that we went to watch the dolphin show which was included in the package we bought at the start of the day. I've never seen a dolphin show and its amazing how intelligent they are. I've also realised over the last week that if I ever do get around to getting a job one day it would definitely be with animals. Forgot how awesome it is to watch dolphins or monkeys or any animal do things you would never think even possible. Anyway to end the day we walked past the Merlion on the island which is a huge statue of a lion/mermaid creature. Got the cable car back to the mountain which we had so luckily missed climbing earlier in the morning and eventually found our way back to the YMCA. Anyway going to watch the England game in a bit so will put some photos on when I get a chance. probably tomorrow sometime because I have to save some money after the amount I spent today on the Luge, all worth it though!
