From Mykonos we head to nearby Syros for a day where we have the best gyros, and Sebastian gets his hair cut by a crazy old Greek barber (good job though!). The people are very friendly, and it's not so touristy. It's a nice stop-over on the way to Santorini (a nauseating 8 hr ride on a tiny ferry: smoking=seats on the right, non-smoking=seats on the left).

Our third island is by far the best of the three. The landscape is incredible, with a sunken volcano viewable from all around the island. We check out the beautiful village of Oia (pronounced Ia), walked along some of the black sand beaches, and hike up the highest mountain.
