We arrived in a town called Valle on Sunday night and stayed there on Monday night too. We spent the whole of Monday in the Grand Canyon NP and had yet another amazing day!

We stopped off at a few view points and took loads of photos beofre finding somewhere to get some lunch. There are so many bikers here tearing past on their Harley's! Proper american Harley Davidson men look so much funnier in real life!

We had a look around the visitors center before making our way about 20 miles away from the main entrance to find somewhere to watch the sun set. In the end we did and it was called Lipan.

The sunset at 6.52pm and the canyon looked so different at sunset then it did during the day. The colours in the sky were stunning. I set my camera up to take photos every minute so I got some good ones of it setting over the horizon. There were loads of crows flying around as well which was a bit scary. One was really nosey, it just sat for about 5 minutes watching our every move!

On the way back I was driving and was getting dark by this point. We were about 10 miles away from the Grand Canyon when I saw 2 deer in the distance in the middle of the road. They were just standing there, but by the time I got closer they soon moved out of the way and a third one couldn't make its mind up whether to cross or not. It was so surreal because they were massive!

We got some dinner in a town before before making our way back to bed, (by this point the sun had drained any energy left in any of out bodies!) I pulled out from the restuarant and on the side of the pavement was another huge deer munching away at the grass right in the middle of town outside pizza hut! It was so weird, it just didn't seem to bother about anyone. I was bothered though because it had the biggest pair of antlers i've ever seen! (not that i've seen loads, but they were huge!!!!) We stopped to take a few photos which i'll post on here asap.

Tomorrow we have another long drive back through Vegas before going through Death Valley and Yosemite NP.
