No Amazing wrap up I am afraid. Made it back to Calgary late Christmas day. Safely. Next couple of days I enjoyed the opportunity to visit with my folks. It was a good quiet restorative time. Except for the shopping trips. Wow. Christmas season shopping and Post Christmas shopping....A lot of people want a lot of stuff! A test of character awaits you when you venture into that kind of crowd and rush. Not sure how I faired. Back and forth I think.
I had one evening out with a friend. I joined Annie and some of her friends for coffee at the Roastery in Kensington, then off to Sams Bar. Annie is a young woman I met at one the festivals I attended This Summer.. the Canmore Folk Festival actually. I know I haven't gotten that far in my summer entries, but I will catch up. Not used to living life and documenting it at the same time. I'd make the catching up a resolution, but it is such a short term goal, PLUS, I actually intend to do it. The whole reason I mention this this anyway - I got a FREE HUG. I would not have know what this guy was talking about, except that I recently received an email about it. Since then I have noticed. (Very cool concept, especially if not limited to one form of kindness) Within days, It wasn't just some 'thing on the internet'. IT is real and can touch you, with two accepting arms. I thought it was pretty cool.
