In the end I got a job, two in fact. Putting my degree into full use by cleaning at a mingolf course and a new, rather swanky, nightclub. Actually it wasn't so bad, I spent my days cleaning while singing at the top of my voice (really out of tune), sometimes being caught out.. oops. haha. I also got to meet a lot of nice people through my job, and made some much needed money!!

 I moved house three times, living first with the Made in Thailand band where I got lots of yummy Thai food cooked for me, I then moved in with another Hon and Poy, yet more yummy Thai food, then moved in with Kiem, Erika and their children, which was yet again more delicious Thai food. Awesome. I had such a nice stay at all the apartments! 


Evenings were spend hanging out with our friends, usually in Dinos, listening to the band, or in the casino - where I actually won money! (Who would have thought it). Days we were free were again spent in Dinos drinking coffee, chatting to friends while trying to read the local newspapers which are in Swedish.. Normally I figured out the weather and cinema listings and just looked at the pictures. haha

Last night Jord took me out for a lovely dinner to have a perfect end to the time in Aland.. Hopefully I'll be back someday though =). All in all, despite working long hours sometimes, it was a nice transition back into the real world after a year of being away.. Albeit brief. I'm on the way to Stockholm now before visiting as many friends in England as possible in 6 days, before heading back to Thailand for yet more Thai food, sun, sea and sand. Damn. Life is hard. ;)
