Took a quick trip up north to Sheffield, then a local train trip to Hope.

Walked from Hope up to the peaks, back down to the valleys and up again along the Edale Ridge before returning back to Edale township.

And yes, the heavens did open up and pour down!
Good thing I had the good-old Nepal "GoreTex" rain pants with me.

The sunshine came out afterwards to make the world all right again :-)

Also walked a short section of the Penine Way around Edale.
Nice views.

I must admit though, the Cotswold Way is still my favorite.
