Where I stayed
What I did
Via ferrate / trekking.
Four day trip to the north Italian Dolomite mountains.
Weather mostly held out, although we did get a little bit of rain.
Did two days of via ferrata climbing, grade 2 and grade 3.
Riva 1 (CIMA SAT) and Rovereto 5C (five peaks)
Closest carpark at: 45.782567N,11.225775E
A little exposed in places but quite do-able.
Great views of the area.
Highly recommended area.
Used the Cicerone Vol 2 book.
Petzl Zyper lanyard.
And do remember to bring some sort of helmet, there is a lot of crumbly rock about!
UK and Italian airport security had no problems with lanyards and carabiners being in carry-on bags.
