Another continent conquered.
Flew into Marrakech and had three days of 25 deg C weather.
Really great after the cold of the UK (-10deg C).
Cannot quite understand why the local Arabs try to rip everyone off at every oppurtunity.
This really stands out.
The bill was not correct once, there was always a tip demanded, even for rubbish or non-existant service. Just went on and on...
Another 4 days in the Sahara: giant sand dunes, camel riding, quite cool really.
The 10 hour minivan trip from hell, drive and drive and drive and...
As long as you do not expect any level of service, it's great.
Back in Kathmandu, those locals were much more "in-your-face", but always polite and honest.
I would go back there in preference every time I think.
Another day in Marrekech for a last look around the markets and then off to the cold again.
Not looking forward to the wet!
Time once more for the 10 layers of thermals!
