On my last day in Guandera I was working down in the village where the station has a nursery. Later on that afternoon I went milking with Edwin who works at the station from time to time.Milking was hard and I didn�t get much milk out and when I did it missed the bucket! Edwin and Julia had been married 3 months and had just built themselves a little house in the village. Further out they kept 10 cows that they milked twice a day.

3yo cowboy

Little Saoul is 3 yeas old and allready showing Rosie and Daisy and their calves who is boss. What a little star. Walking back to the village He decided that he was sleeing at grandads tonight and that was the last I saw of him.

Lapping milk

After milking Edwin and Julia invited me to their house for dinner. And was I not so lucky, they killed a guinnnea pig especially. Poured a bag of coal on the dirt floor and spit rosted the little fella over the fire. To my great suprise it was delicious. Best crackling ever but stuff all meat. The next morning Edwin was going to start a new job in the massive green houses growing cut flowers for export. He was wanting to get enough for a deposit on his own little green house in his back yard so that he could grow and sell tomatoes.
