Today a bunch of the volunteers went snorkling at a big rock in the middle of the water. The water is ¨refreshing¨at this time of the year so we all wore wet suits.

On the way we stopped to play with the sea lions that are everywhere. The juveniles are curious and very playfull. They will jump out of the water right next to people and zoom straight up to your face if you are snorkling.

Daddy sea lion does not play however and it pays to have a healty respect for the ¨fat guy¨.

The visibility out at Kicker Rock was average but you could se some awsome corrals in  various colours. Some people saw eagle rays and turtles.

Our last stop was in a shallow bay and the snorkling there was great (and a lot warmer). I saw some cool fish that I tried to capture on camera and a snake!

I enjoyed the whole day but am a bit weary in the water. Had a few freak outs at the splashes from my own flippers and my omn hair floatin in to vision...
