We are eagerly anticipating our great adventure into extreme and intriguing ecosystems!  Our first step was to book our flight and confirm our activities with Small World Journeys. Next, we met with Fund for Teachers and learned all the ways we will be reporting our learning and expenses with them.  These seemingly mundane tasks actually were very exciting to us, as our trip became a reality to us.  With each step, our excitement escalated.

Now we are working on ways to bring Australia to our classroom lessons and community while we are abroad and when we return. This fascinating continent has much to offer and much to teach us, and we can't wait to share our new knowledge with you!

Mrs. Thompson ive always wanted to go to the cotinent Australia. do you remeber the flat stanly project i sent it off to missouri to give my aunt and uncle but my mom added a little part that he went to Australia and it got saved by a zoo keeper there from an alligator?

Jacob, I do remember your Flat Stanley project. We saw lots of exciting things in Australia just like Flat Jacob did. Maybe one day you will be able to visit Australia yourself!!
