Dinner fete in Audrix. This is a medieval fete where you sit in the town square surrounded by vendors selling food which varies from crepes to pizza. Well I guess that does not vary too much but you get the picture. For one Euro Christy and Collette happily hopped into a mule cart only to return with one of them red faced and streaked with tears. Today we visited a castle that was built into the recess of a cliff that was once inhabited by cavemen (cavewomen). Last night was supposed to be fireworks down by the river but Collette would have none of it so we had to leave early. She sits on my shoulders and kicks me and directs my head in the direction she wants to go. It is like I am a horse and she is Paul Revere with a very urgent message to deliver. However, she did have some quality time at the little fair that was set up in the village. While we listened to throbbing techno music she rode a puppy and a dragon to her great delight.

Hello, hello, can you hear me now???
Hi, guys, we just got back from a 6000+ mile trip around the US (without a laptop or even a TV) so am just now reading the blogs. Also, I had to register to get this reply to you.
Sounds like you're having a great time...but try this again when Collette is 12 or 13 and you'll wonder what got in to you to take a 3 year old!!! But the world is changing so fast I don't blame you for going now.
Thanks so much for keeping us updated - I'm going to go through the rest of your blog today and tomorrow (still have so much paperwork to catch up on!) Take care and kiss the little princess for us. Love from A. Sharan and U. Jim
