Two hours of a dirt road lead us to La Higuera, a small village with about 100 inhabitants located in the forest green, far away 150 km from Santa Cruz. We arrive at the dusty square of the village, that is dominated by a memorial of Ernesto Che Guevara. Here we met a woman who accompany us to the little museum created in the former schoolhouse, where the day 9 of October 1967 Che Guevara was killed (the day before he had been captured by the Bolivian Army in the nearby ravine "Quebrada del Churo"). La Higuera is constitued by about twenty house with the Che's icon printed on the wall, we have good feeling cause this place in the middle of nowhere is full of meaning....we would really like to stop over here for one night, but we have to come back to Vallegrande
