After 2 energetic days we had earned a lazy sea day as the ship sailed to Barcelona. First though was the Straits of Gibraltar, the busiest shipping lane in the world and also meant a peak at the African continent. The only problem was we were sailing through the Straits between midnight and 2am! Barb requested a wake up call and when I saw the lights of Tanger I woke her. Have I told you that Barb is not a morning person :) I took some artistic photos of the ferry boats and coastline and then it was time for bed.
We enjoyed our well earned lazy day sailing on the Mediterranean ocean. Barb and I had a nail biting Bocce game on the lawn. The winner was decided on the last throw of the ball and Barb took her loss in good spirits!
Rested up it was time to hit the streets of Barcelona!
