Looking out my window today, Honfleur wasnt my cup of tea! It looked very grey and boring and it had been raining during the night. Missed the suttle bus so had to walk into the town...on the way we had very low expectations-there wasn't anything around , no people apart from an old couple sat in their van.

Then we turned the corner and saw the town of Honfleur. It's charming-lots of boats, cute buildings and a traditional french carousel! Had a quick look around, there was a band playing in front of a hotel. Went to a little cafe and had breakfast. Even tried speaking a little french-ordering Lisa her jambon et fronage panini!!!Think the waiters were very amused with our attempts at the language! Took a lot of pictures as we went along through the market where they sold antiques, books and furniture. Then visited the cathedral, Saint Catherines I think! It was very beautiful, people lit candles etc.

My favourite part of the day however, was the carousel!!! Bought the pink tickets for a ride and then sat in the princess carriage! got a few weird looks as we then mounted the baby horses and swung arouind taking pictures! Mum, dad, ash-felt like i was in le touquet again!!!

Finished off the day with some frites and a 'oui' picture to add to the collection!
