Woke up early to breakfast of Dal, rice and veg curry.

This morning we said goodbye to the second Auntie (she is pregnant and going to her village to have the baby)

We conducted a combined culture and art class where we talked through all the different western holidays like Christmas, Easter, Halloween, Valentine's day etc. Tying into this we got each of the kids to make some Halloween masks. Some of them went all out and made some really scary looking ones. The loved wearing the masks and making scary sounds and jumping all over each other.

We also taught them how to make hand-turkeys for thanksgiving and taught them the song, Rudolph the red nose reindeer. At the end of the class we got the kids to play knots and tangles....which they loved as well as pairs tag.

After a tiffin of chapatti and alu chips, the boys took us on a walk through the local forest

Dinner was dal with rice and potato curry

After dinner Taryn and I secretly moved the carambot board into our room so we could practice...we totally sucked! We were hoping to be able to get better but I think it’s a lost cause
