Otavalo is the key trading town in northern Ecuador, and on Saturdays it is a hive of activities as people come to trade animals, sell crafts, and stock up on fruits & veg / household supplies.

We started our day at the animal market where we spent most of our time dodging animals and avoiding the assortment of animal poop on the ground. I'm thankful to report that Rob did not trade me in for a swine or half a dozen little piglets. heh
