Boy what a great nights sleep.....I didn't wake until 6:30am.....I couldn't believe the time when I woke..So got everything ready in the Van to go meet the gals and was there just after 7am. Poor Ramona had a flat tire to deal with the first thing.....

I started off with the directions given me and found that it should of been a left turn instead of a right......so got about 8 extra miles in......as of today I have biked 2910.5 miles and only have approx. 645 miles to go......WOW it still amazes me each day of the distance that I have traveled all by bike......and 16 more day.....

Today wasn't all that exciting except to see more of Abe Lincoln history, the first little town called Maaud didn't even have a sign.....just a couple of houses.....Then by the time I got to Mackville it was already to hot to mess around and the town was pretty small...Thanks to Jane for driving and getting ice there today....we have gone through about 20lbs a day.....at least it keeps us cooler

I stopped in Rose Hill at the Market and Beatrice was kind enough to give me some ice and water for the last 5 miles and I was on the last stretch by now its about 90 and I'm hot and tired.....

Mary Jane came in at 1:00pm and picked me up at the Fort Harrod State Park just about a mile to where they were staying, I helped unload and then headed off the Chimney Rock Campground about 8 miles from town.....got a nice shady place,I fixed a snack of cheese and crackers before taking a nap.

I slept for about 2 hours and then got some things done on the computer and fixed me a nice salad with veggies and chicken.....A nice quite day it was......
