You know the Van is good for sleeping, it seems like I sleep most mornings until 7-8am even though I'm going to bed around 10-11pm.....Maybe when I get home I will just live in the Van and forget my apartment....haha.

So today was busy with first finding a Key Bank to make a deposit of the funds raised back in Eugene, Bend, this is the first place that had Key Bank. Then it was off to the Meridian Bike shop owned by Paul and Christina. Christina helped me with my bike trouble, brake on the front and the split tire on the rear, first new tire on my trip. She gifted me some good nutrients by Hammer. I like the gels when I'm climbing and I have lots of that ahead of me.....So they said it would be ready tomorrow, they would call me.

Then it was lunch time so by recommendation from Christina we went next door to the Flatbread Community Oven, Molly was our waitress and very pleasant so if your ever in Meridian I highly recommend this place. Everything is authentic from Italy and it was delicious....

We roamed the small town of Meridian and Bill took a few photos. The history goes way back to the 1800's. A farming, dairy Community, one of the waitresses said she was partial to Meridian since she had lived here all of her life. As we walked the streets Bill took shots of yet another beautiful mural, he likes them I think?

We then were looking for a grocery store of healthy foods to fix in our Van and came across this brand new place called My Fit Foods Eat Fit. Live Fit and we found out they had just opened and we were welcomed by 4 employees and the owner, very pleasant all of them. It was founded by a Mario a fitness trainer. He was training people that never had time to fix there own meals and he started to cook good foods for them and decided he had something so started My Fit Foods.
The food is all portioned out in sizes of small, medium or large and is fresh not frozen foods. We bought 2 salads and had the Chicken Salad one for our dinner and it was more than enough food with crackers for us. Daniel was very helpful and proud to meet me so we got a photo outside of the store. Great idea for the busy, busy people of todays world. The best part it is healthy foods and not bad priced, our 2 salads were $8.25 and that is less than you would pay in any restaurant.....Can't wait to see if they come to the Seattle area in the future.
We did find a Fred Meyers and so got a few things, Oh by the way the gas prices are going down here I found $3.77 gal.

Then we went back to do our laundry and so everything is fresh when we leave.....Well so much today.....Thinking of all my supporters, friends, family and wishing you all good health and living long lives.
