Met the Grasshopper lot in Gillingans (the Ritz of backpacker acc - a nice change from Borneo) drinkin. There was a least twenty empty tinnys scattered about so they seemed like my kind of people. So booked into a trip to the North of Oz to Cape Tribulation. Grasshopper is a new tour company in a Cairnes, it's basically an outback Oki - military vecicle, that has the Curacuraca air horns set on the roof.

So after stocking up on booze the ten of us headed North. Within half the hour the first case of beer was finished (there are 30 can's in a case). Another booze stop to restock and we finally made it to Port Douglus and weren't allowed in the first campsite. Moved on and finally found a place, much drinking, daring, and I've never and it all got a bit rowdy. At 4 in the morning the owner of the site, crazy Sheila that she was, came over screaming "You have five minutes to get off the site, I,ve called the police!". So the party quickly moved to the beach.

Spent the days wondering round some forests and swimming in ice cool creeks keepin an eye out for the Saltee crocs.
