Hey All, Emma's turn to compose the blog now.... Seems to be Steve that always draws the short straw as he gets to wait around for me in the shower in the morning, so blogs away to keep himself busy!!

New York is AWESOME!! so much to see and do, and around every corner there is something new.. or bizarre to look at.

Today the weather started out perfect - cold, snow still on the pavements, but sunny and visability was good so we headed up the Empire State Building to the viewing platform on the 86th floor. We had to queue for what seemed like an eternity, but eventually got up top to see the views. The sun had buggered off by the time we got up there, and it was trying to snow again, but thankfully the clouds stayed away so we got to see just exactly how big New York is... and it is HUGE!! have never seen so many skyscrapers so close together. We got to see the Statue of Liberty from up there, Brooklyn Bridge over to Brooklyn Heights, all of Central Park, and the list goes on...

We also did a little shopping today, Steve got himself a nice 'man bag' from Zara.. now he just needs to find a man to put in it!!! We then headed into the 'I love New York' shops where they sell all the crap, but you just have to buy. We both found ourselves beach bags, and I bought my cousin Sam a little something!! - Sam - you're going to be so amazed with your present.

All we seem to be doing in New York is EAT EAT EAT! the food is amazing, but i have a feeling i will be harpooned when I arrive on the beach in Hawaii... I am currently sat in my bunkbed eating a whole punnet of grapes, to try to force a 'movement!!!' As the title of this blog explains, I have not totally 'adjusted' to the whole eat and expel routine of New York eating. I guess as the food is so good, it wants to stay put... anyway, enough of my bowels!!

We are having such an amazing time here, and we have lots to look forward to.. VEGAS tomorrow!!! wahoooooo!!! i will definately be trying to steal Mike Tyson's tiger at some point... Both Steve and I are loving our bunks in the Pod Hotel, and our maid (who we have named Juanitia!!) is looking after us lots, making our beds every day, folding my pink moo cow pj's, and steve's smalls and leaving them on our pillows for us. Definately will be tipping her! Will be starfishing in our hotel in Vegas tomorrow as we will have a queen bed each in our room!

Right, we have both sorted out our bags, as I am not going to be happy if i get overcharged on the plane again tomorrow... so tonight we head out for our last night in New York. Back to Times Square to the lights, restaurants, hustle and bustle, Levi shop - did I mention I bought some Levis yesterday!!!!??? only $60!!!! - so maybe heading back there for another purchase as it would be criminal not to at that price!!.... and we're going to catch a movie.. or show if we can get cheap tickets!
