We left Brest midmorning after I shipped a suitcase from UPS, and we were supposed to stay in Saint-Lo but as we are so close to Marg birthday we opted for the top of the range hotel with view of Mont-Saint-Michel itself. Great place by European standards but with an over price tag ... at least it comes with great view. We just had the time to get in when the sky really did fall on our head it was raining like all the farmers in Australia have wished for years. So I was sending to get ssome take away and we all had dinner in the room looking at the pretty view. Tomorrow is another day.
