After a very long day at work, I was ready at 3.30 pm (I was so excited , me too... also me ). I decided to leave, message on Outlook and ready to go. After a stop in AVIA to fill Méli with gas, we finally left Lausanne at 4.00 pm , 84815 kms. The weather seemed to be good in our direction. Where were we going? We did not really know: it was our adventure week-end. So let's go where the wind (be careful to the pronunciation , ok i find this sentence icky! It is not fair, Sophie you need to except ) wanted us to go. OK direction Bodensee or Lake of Constance , where we wanted to sleep. But before direction Zurich we got stuck and, above all, we did not think of the traffic jam between Zurich and Bern ... We forgot this little thing. After one hour and a half driving on the highway, we decided to go out the motorway to take the quiet and non-crowded way ..
After, it was all right on the highway and we arrived not too late in Constance . First decision to take: should we go in Germany ? After 2 turn in a roundabout, the answer was yes, of course (Of course, we like the roundabout, I don't know how many turn I made with you but it is unbelievable!) . We all agreed. Magnifique!!! (For one time!) We took our first border, direction Germany . No problem at the border, they even did not stop us, we looked like dolls. Yes, We are German !!!
Sof parked near another Ka, she did not want that her car felt too lonely.
The city of Constance is really a nice city to visit: the architecture, the cathedral, the animation (city for tourists in the summer)... We did not spend too much time, short but great.
Alicia discovered a guy playing piano in the street for people in a bar. We stopped to eat burgers and French fries (at least for Alicia and I, Sof preferred a Constance sausage or Konstancewurst I need to try the local food ). I tried to express myself in German, but it was not so good and the waiters were laughing at us, but whatever the world was for us ... Pictures with mayonnaise and ketchup that Alicia wanted to put in her bag. Once again, we could not resist to an ice cream, we are only girls, sorry. We continued the exploration of the city but time flied very fast and surprisingly, I was the first to start to stress for the camping
Second border, no stop ! We are Suisse !!! We took the road along the Bodensee , and decided to stop at the first camping we saw, it was already 9.15 pm and quite dark (*9h15, sure?: I thought I was more 20h30, no?) . Sign of a camping, we followed it ... we arrived in an industrial zone ... only companies and trucks ... where will we arrive?? at the end of the zone, we finally found the camping. But can we sleep there? Sof and I got off the car to ask the reception for a camping place. Ok, it was hard, the guy was horrible: "the reception is closed, it is too late, we will make too much noise, and you can not put your tent in the dark..." everything in German. I think he just wanted to be "emmerdant" and he finally accepted us. Ouf, we will sleep somewhere. I started to fill the paper, "what? you are three", "yes, Alicia is in the car", another thing to complain. Whatever, we gave him the money and left after difficult explanations about where to park ... Next step, the tent in the dark. I finally did nothing (true!) , just watching and picturing the girls working, as you can see on the beautiful pictures.
Whereas Alicia went to "bed", Sof and I decided to see the lake (or Bodensee ) at 2 min 30 s according to a girl. She was right. We wanted all the day swim in the lake but the envy was away and only our feet can remember how fresh was the see (not so bad finally). After a feet bath, we needed to wash them but we did not have the key for the showers so it was a little bit difficult...
Ok, Sof let's go to bed, a long day is planned for tomorrow. Yep!
