After our stop at the Visitor's Center, we were on our way to Cooke's for my 1st sample of clam chowder. The place is known for their soup and fried seafood. I always think it's weird for fresh seafood to be fried...must be the Japanese in me? Then we checked out the Hyannis area as they were suppose to have an outdoor band but the area was small and after a drive by of the band and the beginnings of rain, we kept driving to First Encounter Beach. We kinda stumbled upon it actually, but we think with all the other people pulling in to park around sunset, that it's probably a good place to take it in. It's not that nice of a beach but the sun should have set just before us, had it not started to down pour. We ended up calling it a night at an Orleans shopping center lot.

The next morning, we drove past Eastham to Provincetown, which had a lot of cut shops and eateries. We stopped at a patio bar overlooking the water and I ordered two Cape Code Red's and was amused by the gay bartender. The small town is a very gay friendly place which is something you'll either love or hate.

With our NP passes we didn't have to pay to park at the National Seashore so we had a peek at the Race Point Beach. Then we took the slower route on 6A towards Boston. Before leaving, I had to have a taste of some lobster bisque but it was awfully expensive for just an okay taste!
