Steve gets kudos for finding out that we could park overnight and ride the Staten Island Ferry into NYC. The ferry was very appropriate in that it got us into Lower Manhattan in 30 mins, for free, and every day we rode by the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and got to see the skyline. What a brilliant find. We also found an affordable puppy sitter on the island so Rusty went to NYC Dog Camp!

We LOVED NYC! In fact, we are thinking of coming back out for a month in a year or so. There's just so much to see and do. The city needs to be lived in. We spent 4 and 1/2 days there and this is a recap of our time there: Times Sq, Redbook, Letterman (wrong but right, front row), Wall St, WFC, WTC, Rockefeller Ctr, Megan, Chelsea, Meatpacking Dist, High Line, Beer Garden, Battery Park, Clinton Castle, Seaport Village, 5 Guys Powerade, Central Park, FAO Schwartz, Trump Plaza(s), bomb scare, Lincoln Ctr's ghostly act and guitar by key, Jiju, School of Julliard, MET, Flatiron, Adorama, Grand Central, Washington Sq, Madison Sq Park, Greenwich Village, Little Italy, Chinatown, No Meatball Shop, LES Noodle Shop and Casa Fox, Crystal, East Harlem, Patsy's Pizzeria, Coney Island, Brooklyn, Andrew, Andrew's roomie @ Mex, Leo's Bagels, 21st Century, walked Brooklyn Bridge, J&R, City Hall, Soupman and St Paul's.

Can't wait to go back...
