Kids vote today (we made a bet with them that they couldn't be quiet on the drive in to Adelaide, who’d have thought they’d win!) So it’s off to the Beachouse which is an indoor play centre/waterslides/timezone/cafe in Glenelg. We loaded them up a "swipe card" and we headed off to test out the cafe. We didn’t hide well enough, a short while later Liam found us he was absolutely busting with excitement and could we come upstairs, it was huge 3 waterslides the kids had an absolute ball, it was then on to the machines the off to lunch in Glenelg. A beautiful sunny day we had a quick look around the esplanade, Bill and I were here 25 years ago on our honeymoon, it is so different so much development of apartments and shops.

Next it’s on for some outlet shopping at Harbourtown, full of promises it was more like a shopping centre no real outlets however the kids did find an activity which was a big beachball you get in then bounce around in an inflatable pool, it was hilarious, although Claire’s turn ended quite quickly when the plug came out and she started taking on water!

We head back to the caravan park and Bill & kids head off to play tennis I find the need not to play tennis & instead choose to take a moment to sit and reflect....aka have a glass of moscato whilst preparing BBQ for dinner.

After dinner we send Claire off for a shower and try to remember where we had hidden her presents (we had told her we hadn’t gotten anything for her birthday) so we re-hid them once we wrapped them so they were easy to get to in the morning!
