Then everyone was rested and ready for a long walk to the beach. It was a very nice beach - it had rocks and sand, so I could compete with my Dad to see who could hit a buoy with a stone and keep my feet comfortable at the same time. Afterwards, we took a cab back to the hotel.
Today, we woke up and had a great breakfast that may have been better than those breakfasts we had in Cappadocia. Then, I played tennis with my Dad. This was a big deal, because the only other time I had played tennis out of the US was years ago in Mexico. By noon, we thought we were supposed to check out of the hotel (at least the kids thought so), but as it turned out, our parents were just kidding with us. We had to pack everything up and get ready to leave. Then they told us to unpack because we were staying. Instead of driving to our next destination, we took a boat ride around the coast from the old harbor. From the old harbor, it sailed about to where our hotel was and back again. It was great because you got to see all the buildings right along the beach and the hill above the beach. After a perfect hour, it was off the boat for us. Everybody was a bit hungry by then. We found a nice döner kebab restaurant, where I got the best sandwich (besides Subway sandwich's) that I had ever had.
