Well it been another quiet but sunny day in the shire, lots of watering been going on here, think our new landlord is a bit weird all she does is water, natter on the phone and pray for rain, often all at the same time!

This lady turned up as well today, we're going to call her the 'Oracle of the Garden' we sat and watched her in awe as she buzzed around the garden doing all sorts of strange things. She even planted our favourite fern in the ground on the promise it would recover and grow much better there, I'm hoping she's right otherwise we'll be in trouble! But it does look happy in the ground for now. I'll take some more pictures in a few weeks and show you how it's doing and then will find it a new bigger pot for it to live in and plant a small cutting off the fern and put it into the old pot - 2 ferns from 1 - it will definitely live on for years to come then :-)

Anyways we spent last few days sitting in the hole in the fireplace, took a few pictures because it's the done thing round here, a regular tourist attraction! (Besides we heard from someone that's the best place to sit in Laura's living room!) and after all that gardening Bert needed a wash, he was a bit reluctant but once he saw the bubbles he dived right in!!

Not sure what we have planned for the next few days but will keep you updated!
