A long day of driving from St. Louis to Oklahoma City made much easier with a 2nd driver. It's awesome to finally have John with us. Crossing into Oklahoma, we saw our first rain drops and 100 degree temps.

Current stats:
  • 1,700 miles driven
  • 32 hours, 15 min of driving
  • 7 states
  • 40 license plates found
Lessons learned:
  • Missouri and Oklahoma have rolling hills and are much greener and treed than expected
  • There is little variety in license plates on the interstates in OK and MO
  • There are some really BIG bugs in Oklahoma
  • When you are in tornado alley, Curtis takes a much greater interest in the weather forecast
  • If you are trapped in the car, why not make a movie? (Make sure to check out the video and our picture below. Just so you know - some hacks at Honda have already gone public with their version of the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UTA2CE8_KLk )
