Karijini National park is huge. We spent just one night but got to do most everything in 2 afternoons. It is great hiking down into the various gorges and diving into rock pools. At first I was a bit dubious about jumping into some of these pools as you don't know what is in them. One pool had tiny leeches in it which you had to rub off when you got out.

We were getting a bit worried driving down this 40k dirt road which had just recently been flooded. We had to get out a few times and walk through some of the water to see how deep it got before driving through it. Then our oil warning light came on, turns out that the sensor just got wet. We were glad the the German girls were just behind us.

We were really camping in the bush that night. We have these candles that we light and they attract all sorts of bugs who commit suicide on mass. You should have seen the amount of dead insects in the wax the next morning.
