Just another overnighter here. We stayed at the one after LP's best pick which was a dump and expensive. We wanted to stay at Sante Marie which is a convent but all their rooms were occupied for the night. The nuns were really nice and organized a guy to take us one by one on his motorbike to Hotel Dhalia. I went first. In the mean time, Angie toured the convent and met mother superior. She offered to make up an emergency room for us which we would gladly have taken only I was already on my way to the other hotel and we had to commit.
We used a private shuttle this time to go from Moni to Ruteng. This shaved about 2 hours off our journey and we made it to Ruteng by 7 pm. It was pleasant see that all the other passengers were locals but prefer a private bus over the local bus too.
We did not see much of Ruteng in our haste back to to Labuan Bajo.
