This is the final border town before you head overland into Ecuador. It's a cute town with a main shopping & market area which seemed to always be busy with people. It’s also so close to xmas it was nice to see all the lights up and everyone rushing around getting their xmas shopping done, something we miss out on for 1 more year!
We stopped here for a day off to catch up on some research for where would like to go in Ecuador, get some washing done etc.
Sanctuarico de las Lajas
This is the main reason to stop in this town
All around the church was a series of paths so you could see it from different view points. Absolutely amazing place!
