Introduction

This was a flying visit just to have a quick look around and then move on to our next destination. Granada is located right next to lake Nicaragua, the biggest lake in central America. This freshwater lake has bull sharks in it!!

We visited the lake and took some pictures. In the middle of the lake is an island with two volcanos on it. It was very far away distance wise but we could still see it as it was a clear day.

The city itself is pretty, and more tourist focused than Leon was. It has a central park that is bustling with people hanging out and vendors selling things. There is also a hotel / pub street where there were many happy hour offers on & people sitting outside drinking their day away
